In 2017, Hubtel became the first local tech company to join the global Pledge 1% movement.
This placed Hubtel alongside major global brands like Salesforce, Atlassian, and TechCrunch, using business as a force for good.

We are committed to offering 1% of our products and services to charitable causes that align with our goal. We focus on broader communities by supporting various NGOs, foundations and charitable organizations.

We set aside 1% of our time to support social causes that matter to our employees and help improve our communities. We also help cover expenses for volunteering staff who take part. In recent times, we’ve supported causes like the AWS B.A.S.I.C.S Summer Camp and several student associations.

We give 1% of our profits by donating non-perishable products that can help communities. Recent initiatives include donating equipment to the COVID-19 Call Center, which helped over 500,000 people. We also renovated an 18-unit classroom block and set up a modern Coding Lab for students at St. Augustine’s College.
